$150 per session for multi-modality cellulite treatment. One session of CoolSculpting at a Western clinic costs $600+ and only addresses fat, not skin quality or drainage.
The Korean philosophy
Korean aesthetics approaches cellulite as a multi-factor issue: weakened connective tissue, poor lymphatic drainage, localized fat deposits, and skin laxity. Western treatments often target just one factor with a single device. The Korean approach treats all factors simultaneously in each session, providing more comprehensive and visible improvement.
The ritual
Skin assessment
5 minThe practitioner evaluates the grade and distribution of cellulite, skin laxity, and any contraindications. Photos are taken for progress tracking. Treatment intensity is calibrated accordingly.
RF treatment
15 minA radiofrequency device is moved across the treatment area, delivering heat to the deep dermis. You’ll feel warming — it should feel like a hot stone massage, not burning. The heat stimulates collagen production and begins to tighten the skin.
Vacuum suction
15 minA vacuum suction device with rollers is applied to the treated area. The suction lifts the skin and underlying tissue, mechanically breaking down fibrous bands while promoting lymphatic drainage. It feels like a deep tissue massage with suction — firm but not painful.
Manual massage
15 minDeep manual massage techniques target the cellulite areas, improving blood flow, encouraging lymphatic drainage, and smoothing the tissue. Korean technique includes specific kneading patterns designed to address the dimpled texture.
Firming cream
5 minA caffeine and retinol-based firming cream is applied to the treatment area. The skin is warmed and more permeable from the RF, so the active ingredients absorb deeply.
Your first time
The treatment targets specific body areas (usually thighs, buttocks, or abdomen). You’ll be in comfortable undergarments or the clinic’s disposable options. The RF device feels warm and pleasant — like a heated massage tool. The vacuum suction feels like a strong suction cup being rolled across your skin. It’s firm and can be slightly uncomfortable on sensitive areas, but it shouldn’t be painful. The manual massage portion is the most familiar. Afterward, the treated area may be slightly red and warm for a few hours. You won’t see dramatic changes after one session — cellulite reduction is a cumulative process. Commit to 6-8 sessions for meaningful results.
When to book
Start 2-3 months before a vacation or event where you want smoother body skin. Weekly sessions for 6-8 weeks, then monthly maintenance. Combine with regular exercise and hydration for best results. Don’t expect miracles from a single session — consistency is key. Spring is an ideal time to start a series before summer.

East vs West
Western cellulite treatments typically use one technology per session (RF only, or vacuum only, or massage only). Korean clinics combine all three modalities in every session for more comprehensive results. The Korean approach is also more affordable per session, making it financially realistic to complete the recommended course of 6-8 treatments.
Aftercare
Drink extra water after treatment to support lymphatic drainage. Avoid hot baths or saunas for 24 hours (the skin is already heated from RF). Light exercise helps maintain circulation. Apply firming body cream daily between sessions. Avoid tight clothing on the treated area for 24 hours.
