Grid marking

Numbing

Injection series
5 minSmall amounts of deoxycholic acid are injected at each grid point using a fine needle. You’ll feel stinging and burning with each injection — this is the acid working on the fat cells. The sensation subsides within minutes of each injection.
Ice and compression
3 minIce is applied immediately to reduce swelling and discomfort. A compression bandage may be provided for the first 24 hours. The treated area will already be noticeably swollen.
Your first time
Be prepared for two things: the injections sting (a burning sensation at each point that fades quickly), and the swelling afterward is dramatic. You’ll develop a significant “bullfrog” double chin of swelling that peaks at 24-48 hours and lasts 3-7 days. This is normal and means the treatment is working — the swelling is the inflammatory response as your body processes the destroyed fat cells. Plan to hide from cameras for a week. Under the swelling, the fat is being permanently destroyed. After the swelling resolves, you’ll notice your chin area is slimmer than before. When to book
