$80 for a beard area treatment. You damage this skin every single day with a razor. For the price of two fancy aftershaves, you can actually repair and protect it.
The Korean philosophy
Men shave 5-7 times per week, scraping a razor across their skin. That’s daily mechanical exfoliation that nobody treats as such. Korean men’s skincare addresses this reality head-on: the beard area needs its own repair protocol. Western grooming culture says “splash some aftershave on it.” Korean skincare says “let’s actually heal the skin you’re damaging every day.”
The ritual
Cleansing and exfoliation
10 minA gentle cleanser followed by a mild enzyme exfoliation lifts trapped ingrown hairs and removes dead skin that’s been building up between shaves. No harsh scrubs — the skin is already irritated from shaving.
Ingrown hair treatment
10 minFreed ingrown hairs are gently extracted if needed. An antibacterial solution treats any infected follicles. BHA is applied to prevent new ingrown hairs from forming.
Calming infusion
8 minCentella asiatica, panthenol, and allantoin serums are massaged into the beard area. These ingredients calm inflammation, promote healing, and rebuild the barrier that shaving damages daily.
LED + mask + finish
17 minBlue LED kills bacteria in razor bump areas. A calming sheet mask or gel mask delivers concentrated repair ingredients for 10 minutes. A protective, non-comedogenic moisturizer finishes the treatment.
Your first time
Don’t shave the morning of your appointment — wait at least 24 hours. The treatment is focused entirely on the lower half of your face: jaw, chin, cheeks, and neck. The exfoliation step may reveal ingrown hairs you didn’t know you had. Extraction of ingrown hairs is the most uncomfortable part but provides immediate relief. The calming serums and mask are soothing and reduce any redness from the extraction. You’ll leave with visibly smoother, calmer skin in the beard area. After a few sessions, you’ll notice fewer razor bumps and ingrown hairs overall.
When to book
Don’t shave within 24 hours before the treatment. Best done 1-2 days after a fresh shave. For maintenance, every 2-4 weeks. Pairs well with a full-face men’s facial for comprehensive care.

East vs West
This treatment essentially doesn’t exist in Western skincare. Western grooming culture treats shaving damage with aftershave (which often contains alcohol that further irritates skin). Korean clinics developed a dedicated protocol for the beard area that treats chronic shaving as what it is: daily skin damage that needs professional repair.
Aftercare
Wait 24 hours before shaving after the treatment. When you do shave, use a sharp, clean razor and a hydrating shave cream (not foam). Apply a centella or panthenol balm after shaving instead of alcohol-based aftershave. Consider switching to an electric razor or safety razor to reduce irritation.
