The ritual
Skin assessment
5 minThe practitioner evaluates your skin quality, laxity, and hydration level. Before/after photos are taken. This helps track the gradual bio-remodeling progress.
BAP point marking
3 minFive specific Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) are marked on each side of the face. These anatomically precise points allow the Profhilo to distribute evenly across the treatment area. The points are different from filler injection sites.
Ice application
3 minIce is applied briefly at each injection point. Profhilo injections are very quick and relatively comfortable, so minimal numbing is needed.
Profhilo injection
10 minSmall amounts of Profhilo are injected at each of the 10 marked points (5 per side). Each injection takes seconds and feels like a brief pinch. The product is injected into the deep dermis and begins spreading immediately.
Light massage
3 minGentle pressure is applied to help distribute the product. You’ll feel small bumps at each injection site — these are the Profhilo boluses that will spread and absorb over the next 24-48 hours.
Your first time
Profhilo is one of the simplest injectable treatments. After marking 10 points on your face, the practitioner injects a small amount at each point — quick pinches that are over in seconds. The total injection time is about 10 minutes. You’ll leave with small bumps at each injection site (like mosquito bites) — these flatten within 24-48 hours. No bruising in most cases. The magic happens over the following weeks as the HA disperses and triggers your own collagen production. At your 4-week follow-up (session 2), you’ll already notice improved skin texture and hydration. The full result at 8 weeks is remarkable — your skin just looks fundamentally better.
When to book
Start 8-10 weeks before an event (first session + 4 weeks + second session + 4 weeks for full results). The 2-session protocol is non-negotiable for results. After the initial course, one maintenance session every 6 months keeps the results going. The tiny injection bumps resolve in 24-48 hours, so short-term social downtime is minimal.

Aftercare
Don’t touch or massage the injection bumps for 24 hours. Avoid intense exercise, alcohol, and saunas for 24 hours. The bumps will flatten naturally. Use gentle cleanser and moisturizer. SPF as always. Schedule your second session exactly 4 weeks out — the timing matters for optimal results.
