$300 for skin botox every 3-4 months. That’s the cost of a few months of pore-minimizing serums that don’t actually minimize pores — this genuinely does.
The Korean philosophy
Traditional Botox targets muscles to reduce wrinkles. Skin Botox targets the skin itself — the superficial injection reduces pore size, controls sebum production, and creates an overall smoothing effect. Korea pioneered this off-label use and it’s become one of their most requested treatments. The West is years behind on this one.
The ritual
Skin cleansing
5 minThe face is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. Since multiple superficial injections are involved, a sterile surface is essential to prevent any infection.
Numbing cream
15 minA topical anesthetic is applied across the treatment area and left to absorb. The injections are very superficial and quick, but numbing makes the experience comfortable given the number of injection points.
Micro-injection treatment
15 minUsing an ultra-fine needle, the practitioner delivers tiny amounts of diluted Botox into the superficial dermis across the entire face. The technique involves dozens of micro-droplets spaced evenly. Each injection feels like a tiny pinprick. The practitioner focuses on areas with larger pores and more oil production.
Post-treatment calming
5 minA soothing centella serum and cold compress reduce any redness at injection sites. The tiny injection marks are barely visible and fade within hours.
Your first time
This feels similar to other injectable treatments but the injections are more superficial and less painful than traditional Botox. After numbing cream, the practitioner uses an extremely fine needle to make many small injections across your face. Each feels like a tiny pinprick — quick and tolerable. Your face may have small red dots afterward that fade within a few hours. Results aren’t instant — over the next 1-2 weeks, you’ll notice your pores looking smaller, your skin producing less oil, and an overall smoother, more refined texture. It’s subtle but transformative.
When to book
Book at least 2 weeks before an event for pore-minimizing results to fully develop. For ongoing maintenance, every 3-4 months. Great to combine with skin boosters for the ultimate glass skin treatment. Avoid scheduling right before a beach vacation — keep treated skin out of heavy sun for a few days.

East vs West
Skin Botox is a Korean innovation that most Western clinics don’t even offer yet. Korean practitioners have refined the dilution ratios, injection depth, and distribution patterns through thousands of treatments. When Western clinics do offer it, they charge 50-100% more and often have less experience with the technique. This is one treatment where Korea is genuinely years ahead.
Aftercare
Don’t touch your face for 4-6 hours. No heavy exercise, saunas, or alcohol for 24 hours. Gentle skincare only for 48 hours — no retinol or strong acids. SPF 50+ daily.
