Sioris built an entire brand around the answer.

Based in Seoul but sourcing from Korean farms, Sioris practices what it calls time-stamped harvesting: key botanicals are picked at their scientifically determined peak moment of biological activity, and each product carries the harvest date on its packaging. This is not a gimmick. The brand invested in agricultural research to identify the optimal harvest windows for ingredients like green plum, white willow bark, and propolis, then structured its entire production calendar around those windows. The result is small-batch skincare that is seasonal by necessity rather than by marketing choice.

In the K-beauty landscape, where speed-to-market and viral scalability drive most brand decisions, Sioris operates on a fundamentally different clock. Production runs are limited by harvest yields. Product launches are determined by growing seasons. The brand cannot simply manufacture more when demand spikes, because the ingredients are not interchangeable commodities — they are crops, subject to weather and timing.
